Gentle levels work on developing good habits, understanding body movements, learning about modifications, refinement building and results. Personalized modifications are shown and you are encouraged to go at your own pace. Each program starts with resting and a soft warm up, and then progresses through standing to build strength. And then back to the floor for resting. Floor based programming. Often Referred to as: Hatha, Karpilu, Gentle or Therapeutics yoga.
LEVEL 5 GENTLE RECOVER
Recover yoga is geared to those who are experiencing overall stiffness, joint sensitivity, physical limitations, chronic conditions, require stress reduction and those who want to return to movement. You will reduce pain, wake up muscles and internal systems of your body slowly, with curiosity and care. You will learn about body basics, restful techniques, breath work, gentle moves and functional concepts to aid you in everyday life. Floor based programming.
LEVEL 6 GENTLE REFINE
Refine yoga helps you refine and learn the details of movement that your body should be doing naturally. You will get better acquainted with sensations in your body as you gently learn the basics of function and develop a better understanding of how to keep yourself safer in exercise programs and daily life. You will gain strength, increase balance and reduce pain through soft movement. Floor based programming.
LEVEL 7 GENTLE BUILD
Build yoga starts to build understanding of pose evolution, lengthens hold times and adds to the number of repetitions. This will help build your knowledge and strengthen your muscles, with gentle yoga still in mind. You will gain a strong yoga foundation in preparation for flow programs as you develop a better awareness of how to move better in daily life. You should be in good physical condition and have body knowledge to be in this program.
